Job summary

Bender Companies is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at one of our Minneapolis apartment communities. You will help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents, with a focus on both common areas and prepared units.

The ideal candidate has custodial or janitorial experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Duties include cleaning, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and assisting with turnovers.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial or janitorial roles, especially in residential or commercial settings.
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize hallways, lobbies, stairwells, laundry rooms, and other common areas.
• Assist with cleaning and preparing vacant units for move-ins.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the maintenance or management team.
• Help maintain property grounds: sweep walkways, pick up debris, and empty trash bins.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety guidelines.
