Job summary

Bender Companies is seeking a dependable Cleaner to join our Richton Park property team. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, performing day-to-day cleaning and turnover tasks for vacant units.

This full-time, on-site role works 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with weekends as needed. Pay is $19 to $21 per hour, with company benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401K plan with matching, paid holidays, PTO, and personal

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial or janitorial roles preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to work.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize hallways, lobbies, stairwells, laundry rooms, and other common areas.
• Assist with cleaning and preparing vacant units for move-ins, including floors, appliances, and fixtures.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the maintenance or management team.
• Help maintain property grounds, including picking up debris, sweeping walkways, and emptying trash bins.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment according to company policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when restocking is necessary.
• Support other staff with occasional light maintenance or turnover tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
