Job summary

BairesDev, a global technology partner, is seeking a Software Engineer (Apache Pulsar) to design and operate real-time data pipelines in a fully remote role. You will work on high-volume messaging systems, ensuring multi-tenant isolation and geo-replication across regions.

We value strong distributed systems experience and deep Pulsar knowledge, plus excellent English. The position offers flexible hours, home-office setup, and a collaborative, worldwide team environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software/data engineering or distributed systems.
• Proven expertise with Apache Pulsar and related streaming tech.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable messaging solutions with Pulsar and BookKeeper.
• Manage Pulsar clusters, brokers, and bookies for high availability.
• Develop real-time producer and consumer applications.
• Configure multi-tenant environments with isolated namespaces and policies.
• Implement geo-replication for data consistency and DR across regions.
• Troubleshoot distributed messaging and storage issues.
