You will work with Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming and Kinesis, collaborating with data architects to ensure quality and security in a 100% remote, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing real-time streaming systems with Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming, or Kinesis.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable real-time data pipelines using Kafka and Flink.
• Develop streaming applications that handle complex event processing with exactly-once semantics.
• Optimize data ingestion to maintain high throughput across Spark Streaming and Kinesis.
• Collaborate with data architects on schema evolution and data quality for streaming workloads.
• Monitor and troubleshoot distributed streaming infrastructure for reliability and consistency.
• Implement security best practices for data in transit and multi-tenant streaming environments.
