Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an ECM Market Intelligence professional to originate transactions alongside senior bankers across ECM and coverage.

You will build institutional investor relationships, focusing on China and APAC technology opportunities to support issuer origination, market positioning, and execution. You will lead client presentations, market analysis, and thought leadership materials, collaborating with internal teams across coverage, syndicate, sales, trading, and research.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in an ECM or related investment banking role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Economics or related discipline.
• Strong track record in ECM origination and execution; knowledge of ECM products.
• Ability to lead transactions from origination through execution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for senior clients and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, commercial judgment, and collaboration in fast-paced environments.
• Mandarin proficiency to communicate with APAC clients.

Responsibilities

• Originating ECM transactions alongside senior bankers.
• Develop and maintain institutional investor relationships for market intelligence and feedback.
• Focus on China and APAC technology opportunities to support issuer origination and execution.
• Lead preparation of client presentations, pitches, RFPs, and thought leadership in equities and tech.
• Deliver market analysis, precedent transactions, and shareholder targeting to support origination and execution.
• Collaborate with global ECM teams in NY and London on strategic initiatives.
