Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks an Associate in Equity Capital Markets to drive the full cycle of transactions, from preparing marketing materials to day-to-day execution. You will train, receive mentoring, and work with a broad team on real-time deals with travel opportunities.

You will collaborate with global ECM teams, support client interactions, and contribute to JPMorgan's franchise and market leadership in capital markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field.
• 2–4 years in ECM, investment banking, private equity or related advisory role.
• Strong accounting and finance skills with business writing ability.
• Knowledge of capital markets and ECM execution processes.
• Excellent communication with senior professionals and clients.

Responsibilities

• Execute public capital raising transactions including IPOs and follow-ons.
• Assist senior bankers in client engagement, pitches and RFPs.
• Liaise with industry coverage, sales and trading, syndicate and legal teams.
• Prepare thought pieces on ECM and subsectors.
• Drive issuer analysis including precedent transactions and shareholder targeting.
• Draft presentation materials and committee memorandums.
• Support Analysts and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced team.
