Brigham Young University (BYU) Counseling and Psychological Services seeks a Psychology Intern for an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship. The role offers closely supervised training, direct clinical work with students, and involvement in CAPS training programs.

Ideal candidates are doctoral students with readiness endorsed by their program and a strong commitment to BYU’s mission. INVITATION-ONLY internship with comprehensive supervision and evaluation processes.

Qualifications

• Firm commitment to BYU mission.
• Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in doctoral program.
• Completion of doctoral coursework and qualifying examinations by internship start.
• Endorsement by the doctoral program as to readiness for the psychology internship.
• Completed APPIC application.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological services to University students.
• Provide 24 direct clinical hours of psychological services to students.
• Participate in Psychology Internship training.
• Engage in CAPS training program activities under the Training Committee.
• Utilize supervision and feedback; participate in performance evaluations.
• Complete an approved intern group program evaluation.
