Job summary

Cure 4 The Kids Foundation in Las Vegas is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support its mission by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Summary

Our accounts payable specialist will be responsible for day-to-day accounts payable functions. Conducting timely and accurate account reconciliation.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Review vendor Invoices for accuracy.
• Reconciling vendor statements to ensure all invoices are accounted for.
• Codes and posts accounts payable invoices.
• Cuts accounts payable checks and makes online payments weekly.
• Post credit card transactions and reconcile credit card statement.
• Performs month-end close and year-end audit tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

Required Education And Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications including, but not limited to Word and Excel.

Preferred Education And Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of Center and GP

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to understand full cycle AP.
• Strong understanding of GL coding.
• Excellent organizations skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent and precise data entry skills.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Frequently required to sit.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 15lbs.
• Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
• Frequently required to operate office equipment and use a keyboard.

Language skills: English.

Compensation range commensurate with experience. Candidates will receive the compensation range during the initial interview.
