Job Title: Senior Helicopter A P Mechanic

This is a full-time, direct hire position offering a competitive salary with a full benefits package.

Locations: Various including Marion, IN; Rushville, IN; Greencastle, IN; Neenah, WI; Redding, CA; Richmond, TX; Columbus, TX; Palestine, TX; Burleson, TX; Safford, AZ; Oracle, AZ.

Job Summary:

Our employer is seeking an A P-licensed mechanic with at least 2 years of experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic to work on helicopters. The role involves ensuring the fleet's readiness for emergency response with precision and reliability.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection requirements to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
2. Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations requiring schedule or aircraft changes, extra manpower, or technical assistance.
3. Maintain aircraft at field bases, manage stock levels, and requisition spares as needed, ensuring safety and security of assets.
4. Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories, and certify work on aircraft logs in compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
5. Comply with RAMCO entries and related documentation.
6. Coordinate effectively with Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and other agents to ensure timely completion of tasks.
7. Maintain parts inventory and recommend adjustments as necessary.
8. Ensure calibration and maintenance of company-provided specialized tools.
9. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma.
• FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic.
• Basic communication and computer skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical, functional capacity exam, drug screening, and background check.
• For Roving Maintenance Team: sheet metal repair and avionics troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Must be able to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, and work night shifts as required.
