Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A - AP to join our US-based operations. You will review and process invoices, validate essential invoice information, and ensure timely payments, while supporting audit and compliance processes.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with AP workflows. You will engage with requisitions, improve processes, and help maintain accurate pay runs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in accounting/commerce/economics/finance with relevant finance/accounting knowledge.
• Experience with accounts payable processes and invoice validation is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices and provide resolutions.
• Review and validate basic invoice details (supplier, PO, bank, invoice #, date).
• Release invoices for payment timely and accurately.
• Ensure pay runs are completed as agreed with customers.
• Follow up on requisitions to resolve invoice issues per AP guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to reduce helpdesk queries and improve processes.
• Adhere to internal compliance policies and daily operational guidelines.
• Perform daily internal audits to ensure invoices/queries are handled per guidelines.
