Job summary

Genpact is seeking an AP Specialist to calculate and post financial transactions, process invoices, and verify data for accounts payable records. You will handle PO and non-PO invoices, review requisitions for payment approvals, and ensure AP process quality across the country.

You will also reconcile vendors, manage the payments cycle, and pursue AP improvements while leveraging AI-driven tools to optimize accuracy and speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience with AP processes and ERP systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled finance tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, post business transactions and process invoices for AP records.
• Process invoices with PO/Non-PO.
• Review invoices and requisitions for payment approval.
• Ensure AP process quality and handle non-standard country-specific processes.
• Verify extensions and totals on invoices and apply discounts when possible.
• Prepare voucher listings with invoice details and coding.
• Identify and implement AP improvements.
• Manage vendor payments cycle including GRIR reconciliations.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
