Job summary

QUALITY IMPORTERS TRADING COMPANY LLC is seeking a dependable Accounting Assistant to support AP and AR functions in Weston, FL. This on-site, full-time role emphasizes accurate financial records, billing discrepancy resolution, and strong vendor/customer communication.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of accounting experience, proficient Excel skills, and familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite or another ERP is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with AP processes including vendor invoice review, accurate data entry, coding support, and prompt follow-up on discrepancies.
• Assist with AR tasks including customer account review, payment application, friendly collections follow-up, and general invoice support.
• Help maintain accurate, up-to-date vendor and customer records; assist with filing, documentation, and systematic organization of financial files.
• Serve as a professional point of contact for billing questions from vendors, customers, and internal departments.
• Help research, track, and resolve day-to-day billing, payment, or account discrepancies.
• Assist the accounting team with month-end closing tasks and other special administrative projects as assigned.
