Job summary

Our client, Solomon Page, seeks an AP Accountant to join the team in Midtown Manhattan. This onsite role offers a hybrid schedule with four days on site and one remote day, paying $32-35/hr on a W2 basis.

The position is a contract role with potential conversion to direct hire. The successful candidate will have GAAP knowledge, 2-4 years of accounts payable experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel skills to support month-end closings and vendor payments while

• 2-4 years of corporate accounts payable experience.
• Prior experience in fashion, beauty, or retail is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding, and data entry.
• Review, audit, and process expense reports and corporate card transactions.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and statements, research discrepancies, and resolve payment issues.
• Prepare and manage vendor payments while maintaining accurate records.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and accrual support.

Our client, a global luxury retail company, is looking for an AP Accountant to join their team! This will be an onsite role working out of their office in Midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will possess working knowledge of GAAP, have strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills to interact with various internal and external stakeholders.

• Pay: $32-35/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)
• Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote, standard 40-hour work week
