Job summary

Solomon Page is partnering with a multinational fashion company seeking a Jr. Accounting Analyst for a part-time, fully onsite role in Midtown Manhattan. This 4-week contract on a W2 basis is 24 hours per week, with work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The analyst will reconcile AR, research payment discrepancies, support quarter-end close and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 1+ year of experience, strong Excel skills, and an interest in

• 1+ years of corporate accounting or finance experience
• Experience or interest in fashion industry
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, vlookups)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Reconcile Accounts Receivable activity for Retail and E-Commerce channels.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, and outstanding balances.
• Prepare and maintain AR reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation.
• Assist with quarter-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Support balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account variances.

Job description

Our client, a multinational fashion company, is looking for a Jr. Accounting Analyst to join their team part-time! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, possess strong attention to detail, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment!

Role Overview

• Contract Role: 4 weeks, possibility of extension
• Pay: $25.00/hr on W2
• Schedule: 24 hours per week, 8 hours per day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays

Responsibilities
