Job summary

NorthKey Community Care in Kentucky is seeking an Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) Therapist to join our team. The role delivers community-based behavioral health assessment, treatment, care coordination, and outreach under Tim's Law.

Schedule is typically Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with varied locations and travel in the service area. Independent licensure in Kentucky is required to practice.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or above in a clinical field of study related to behavioral health from an accredited institution.
• Licensed independently or willing to obtain independent licensure.
• Knowledge of Housing First principles, trauma-informed care, homeless services systems, and housing resources preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide services in community and non-traditional treatment settings.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or co-occurring disorders preferred.
• Provide treatment and monitoring services for individuals participating in Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) under Tim's Law.
• Monitor compliance with court-ordered treatment plans and document client participation in required services.
• Coordinate services among behavioral health providers, primary care providers, hospitals, community agencies, and other treatment partners.
• Communicate with court personnel, attorneys, hospitals, law enforcement, case managers, and other stakeholders regarding treatment progress, compliance, and service needs.
