Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center is seeking a Director to build and lead its new Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) program in Princeton, WV.

The Project Director / Court Coordinator will establish procedures, coordinate with the court system, providers, and community partners, and oversee daily operations.

This role offers an opportunity to shape a program that expands access to community-based behavioral health services for individuals with serious mental illness.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum five years of leadership experience.
• Experience with court systems and grant management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with courts, providers, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development, and daily operation of the AOT program.
• Develop program procedures, workflows, and processes.
• Establish and maintain relationships with judges, court personnel, and providers.
• Coordinate hearings and documentation for participating individuals.
• Oversee staff and ensure service quality.
• Guide the AOT Management Team and Steering Committee.
• Ensure compliance with federal SAMHSA grant requirements.
• Oversee documentation, data, reporting, and deadlines.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and identify improvements.
• Support plans to sustain the program beyond initial funding.
• Perform other duties to ensure successful operation.
