Job summary

J&T Business Consulting is seeking an AOI Operator I in Seymour, CT, to operate AOI equipment in a high‑reliability electronics manufacturing environment. You will set up inspection recipes, load and run PCBA boards, and log defects to support first‑pass yields and quality compliance.

You will classify defects, document dispositions in the MIS (Aegis), assist with training, and collaborate with SMT line operators, hand solder technicians, and leads while following OSHA and SDS procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• IPC-A-610 Certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Experience with shop floor tracking software preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency and numerical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain AOI equipment according to standards and build schedules.
• Load boards, verify programs, and prevent ESD damage during handling.
• Record defects and dispositions in the MIS (Aegis) accurately.
• Assist in training AOI operators and coordinate with SMT line staff.
