Job summary

Omni Air International seeks a Purchasing Supervisor to lead and develop the purchasing team supporting our global operations. The role requires negotiating with vendors, ensuring timely procurement, and maintaining critical databases used by multiple departments.

Ideal candidates will have aviation purchasing experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of cost optimization. The position is based in the United States with potential for flexible scheduling as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass a 10-year background/Criminal/Motor Vehicle records check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Aviation purchasing experience preferred; familiar with purchasing industry and resources.

Responsibilities

• Train, oversee, and support all Purchasing personnel.
• Perform purchasing duties when required and ensure timely vendor interactions.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to obtain best value.
• Maintain databases and ensure access for essential staff.
• Oversee AOG Purchaser duties and cross-train personnel.
• Prepare reports, revisions, and updates to Purchasing Procedures Manuals.
