Job summary

Allegiant is seeking a senior buyer/purchasing professional to ensure timely availability of aircraft parts and materials for line maintenance and heavy checks. You will manage sourcing, RFQs, and purchase orders while optimizing cost and stock levels.

Role requires five years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong MS Office/Adobe Acrobat skills. You will evaluate requests, coordinate with vendors, and report performance metrics to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum five (5) years of related experience as a Buyer or Purchasing professional
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat; strong analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a team environment; effective communicator

Responsibilities

• Source and procure parts and materials for Line Maintenance and Heavy Check
• Evaluate requests for accuracy and respond in a timely fashion
• Procure in the most cost-effective manner and manage stock transfers or RFQs
• Generate purchase orders and manage vendor quotations and lead times
• Maintain and update inventory, status, and open orders to meet deadlines
• Negotiate contracts and measure vendor performance, ensuring quality and cost control
• Analyze operational trends and report to upper management
