Job summary

The Boeing Company in Dallas, TX is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to coordinate activities for emergent customer requirements and escalations. This role involves working with SAP/Oracle ERP systems and cross-functional teams to ensure quick returns to service for aircraft in need.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a supply chain role and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience in a supply chain related role.
• Experience with schedule software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, and/or similar ERP systems)
• 1+ years of experience working in a fast paced, collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities to facilitate quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (AOG).
• Enter, track, monitor, and coordinate customer material and delivery requirements for emergent escalations.
• Advise customers regarding order status, changes or improvements in Customer Escalation.
• Act as a liaison communicating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and drive a solution to support customer hard grounded aircraft situation.
• Review and decipher engineering data for alternate problem resolution.
• Support suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plan.
• Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services including repair capabilities and capacity.
• Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective.
• Assess and analyze customer escalations and formulate problem resolutions.
• Use multiple Boeing systems in a fast-paced environment for Customer Escalation requirements.
• Able to adapt in a fast-changing and high-stress work environment.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
• Must be self-driven and able to ask questions in a team environment.
