Job summary
VOALA is seeking an AOD Support Staff I Registered - MC to provide services to beneficiaries in treatment and assist in group counseling sessions at our Los Angeles program. The role emphasizes safety, crisis management, and maintaining required records while pursuing certification.
You will work on-site under supervision, supporting case managers and therapists, with duties including intake, screening, and documentation in EHR systems. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass fingerprint clearance and background check.
- Valid Driver’s license or State ID as required.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) preferred; strong communication with diverse participants.
Responsibilities
- Provide AOD counseling support under supervision; assist in screenings, assessments, and intake.
- Participate in group and educational sessions; assist in discharge and transition planning.
- Monitor program premises for safety and security; transport participants as needed.
- Maintain required EHR records and reports; support clinical/case management staff.
