Job summary

Southern California Alcohol and Drug Programs, Inc. in Downey, CA is seeking an AOD Support Staff I Registered - MC for the graveyard shift. You will provide services to beneficiaries in treatment, monitor safety, and support counseling activities on-site.

The role involves supervision, group sessions, crisis management, and maintaining required documentation in the EHR system; you will work toward certification and ongoing renewal requirements in a non-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Valid Driver’s license or State ID required by DHCS.
• Registered and in good standing in an Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certification program.

Responsibilities

• Provide AOD counseling services under supervision.
• Monitor program premises for safety and security on-site.
• Assist in group counseling sessions and crisis management.
• Transport participants to offsite appointments when needed.
• Complete required EHR records and logs daily.
