VOALA is seeking an AOD Support Staff I Registered - MC for the graveyard shift in Los Angeles. You will provide services to beneficiaries in treatment, assist in group counseling sessions, and help maintain safety on-site.

Under supervision of a Certified AOD Counselor, you will complete required documentation in the EHR, participate in crisis management, and work toward certification, meeting renewal requirements.

Formación

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background check
• Completed modules 1 and 2 of ASAM Within 2 weeks of hire
• Active enrollment in Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certification program
• AA or higher degree in related field; preferred bilingual abilities

Responsabilidades

• AOD COUNSELING: under supervision, assist screening, assessment, intake; participate in group and educational sessions
• Collaborate with case manager and therapist to assist treatment plans and complete discharge and transition plans
• Transport program participants to offsite appointments as needed
• PROGRAM Security: monitor entrance, screen bags, patrol premises
• PROGRAM SAFETY: monitor client safety, report safety concerns, know fire exits
• Input data into EHR and daily logs; complete written reports as required
• On-site presence and professional conduct as role model for participants
