Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking an AOD Support Staff I Registered for the graveyard shift to assist in counseling services and ensure a safe program environment. You will participate in group sessions, monitor the premises, and support treatment plans under supervision.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the clinical team, transporting participants when needed, documenting activities in the EHR, and providing client/patient support to help participants progress toward

Qualifications

• Must be in good standing in an Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certification program.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in alcohol and drug counseling activities under supervision.
• Support treatment plans and document in EHR.
• Transport participants to offsite appointments when needed.
• Monitor program entrance, screen bags and persons, and patrol premises.
• Maintain client safety and complete incident reports.
• Provide client/patient support and assist with meals and class setup.
