Job summary

Blackpoint Cyber, a leading cybersecurity provider, seeks a Sales Engineer to support ANZ partner networks across Australia and New Zealand. You will serve as the ANZ SME, lead compelling product demos, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support to align solutions with customer needs.

You will bring 4+ years in technical pre-sales, with strong knowledge of cybersecurity tools, frameworks, and privacy laws, plus willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Sales Engineering or related client-facing technical roles, ideally in MSP/SMB in ANZ.
• Experience with cybersecurity technologies such as endpoint security, network design, and cloud services.
• Strong familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NZISM, APRA CPS 234) and privacy laws.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and MSPs in cybersecurity contexts.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with a partner-centric growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ANZ SME in cybersecurity and Blackpoint’s product portfolio.
• Bridge the technical gap between Blackpoint and customers with cross-functional teams.
• Lead demos and trials to uncover pain points and move deals forward.
• Present webinars and educate partners on capabilities and differentiators.
• Provide customer-driven insights to Product and Engineering for roadmap alignment.
• Develop knowledge of ACSC and NZNC/CERT NZ and MSP partner engagement.
