United Future in Washington, DC, seeks an Antitrust & Competition Associate Attorney to join its premier AmLaw 50 practice. You will work alongside leading practitioners on merger reviews, government investigations, antitrust litigation, and compliance counseling engagements.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, active DC bar, 3–4 years of post-JD antitrust experience, and a strong track record handling complex competition matters and agency negotiations with FTC/DOJ.

Formación

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC, in good standing.
• 3-4 years of post-JD experience in antitrust and competition law.
• Experience handling antitrust litigation matters, merger reviews, and regulatory investigations.
• Experience representing clients before the FTC, DOJ, and state attorneys general preferred.
• Knowledge of merger clearance processes, cartel investigations, and government enforcement actions.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional writing, advocacy, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Represent clients in antitrust litigation matters in federal and state courts.
• Assist with merger clearance reviews and related regulatory filings.
• Advise clients during investigations by the FTC, DOJ, and state attorneys general.
• Conduct legal research and analysis involving complex competition law issues.
• Draft motions, briefs, agency submissions, white papers, and client memoranda.
• Support internal and government investigations involving antitrust concerns.
• Counsel clients on antitrust compliance and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to support transactional and litigation matters.
• Monitor developments in antitrust enforcement and competition policy.

Educación

Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier law school
