Our client, Confidential AmLaw 50 Firm, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC office in a hybrid capacity. The role focuses on antitrust and competition matters, including merger reviews, government investigations, litigation, and regulatory counseling.

The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of post-JD antitrust experience, a JD from a top-tier school, and DC bar admission in good standing. Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills are essential.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC, in good standing.
• 3-4 years of post-JD experience in antitrust and competition law.
• Experience handling antitrust litigation, merger reviews, and regulatory investigations.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in antitrust litigation in federal and state courts.
• Assist with merger clearance reviews and related regulatory filings.
• Advise clients during investigations by the FTC, DOJ, and state attorneys general.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex competition law issues.
• Draft motions, briefs, agency submissions, white papers, and client memos.
• Collaborate with internal and government investigations teams.
• Counsel clients on antitrust compliance and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with attorneys across practice groups on transactions and litigation.
