Job summary

Our client, an international AmLaw 50 firm, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC office in the Antitrust & Competition Practice Group. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on merger reviews, government investigations, antitrust litigation, and compliance counseling.

The successful candidate will advise sophisticated multinational clients at the intersection of business, government, and regulation while gaining exposure to cutting-edge competition issues across industries

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC, in good standing.
• 3–4 years of post-JD antitrust experience (excluding judicial clerkships).
• Experience handling antitrust litigation, merger reviews, and regulatory investigations.
• Experience representing clients before FTC/DOJ and state attorneys general preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in antitrust litigation in federal and state courts.
• Assist with merger clearance reviews and related regulatory filings.
• Advise clients during FTC/DOJ and state AG investigations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex competition law issues.
• Draft motions, briefs, agency submissions, white papers, and client memoranda.
• Support internal and government investigations involving antitrust concerns.
• Counsel clients on antitrust compliance and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on transactional and litigation matters.
