Job summary

William Bunch Auctions & Appraisals is seeking a dependable Auction Associate / Smalls Handler for our warehouse and auction operations in the PA area. This temporary part-time role offers opportunities for full-time employment and involvement with live and online auctions featuring fine art, antiques, and collectibles.

You will assist with receiving, cataloging, photography, previews, shipping, and customer pickups, ensuring careful handling of valuable items.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and move furniture safely.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, inspect, and unpack consignments.
Tag, measure, and prepare items for cataloging.
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Safely move items throughout the warehouse and gallery.
Assist with exhibition setup and breakdown.
Stage auction lots for previews.
Prepare items for photography.
Ensure lots remain complete and properly identified.
Professionally pack fragile property.
Assist with buyer pickups and release purchases to buyers, consignors, and shippers.
Provide outstanding customer service.
Maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
Follow safe lifting and handling procedures.
Work with team members to meet auction deadlines.
