Job summary

MSD in De Soto, Kansas is seeking an Operations Technician to support antigen production operations on a Monday–Friday 1st shift, with occasional weekend/holiday work. You will drive process work, sampling, and documentation, ensuring schedules meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, with preferred BSc in a relevant science and experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, GMP, and ERP systems like SAP.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GMP in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Attention to detail with documentation accuracy.
• Ability to follow SOPs and manufacturing directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate within production schedules to support antigen manufacturing.
• Perform process work, sampling, and documentation tasks.
• Provide technical and operations support to ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Follow QA/QC procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Maintain proper use of equipment and PPE; report hazards and incidents promptly.
