Merck & Co. seeks a 1st Shift Fermentation Technician for its Animal Health facility in Desoto, Kansas. The role focuses on large-scale antigen production using fermentation and cell culture, aligned with GMP standards.

You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure daily production activities meet quality and schedule targets. The position offers a 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM), a salary range of $48,600 to $76,600, annual bonus eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Requires at least 6+ months experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices documentation and record-keeping.
• Strong work ethic, attendance, and basic communication skills; can work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Aseptic material handling and culture scale-up in fermentation.
• Operate stainless-steel fermenters and processing vessels; support downstream processing and filtration.
