Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or SOE from an ACP.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience.
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans reflecting district curriculum requirements.
• Plan engaging activities and use varied instructional strategies per state guidelines.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Direct instructional aides and volunteers as needed.
• Maintain and document student progress and reports; ensure safety and discipline.
