Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in San Diego, CA is seeking a Scientist III to contribute to the discovery and development of monoclonal antibodies. The role focuses on protein expression, tissue culture, and molecular biology techniques within a dynamic team.

You will be responsible for setting up and performing experiments, data analysis, and presenting results at lab meetings, with strong emphasis on accuracy and documentation. 12-month contract, first shift, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in cellular or molecular biology, immunology, cell biology or related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 3–6 years of laboratory experience are required.
• Protein expression, molecular biology and/or tissue culture experience required.

Responsibilities

• Transfection and expression of antibodies and recombinant proteins using multiple cell lines and expression systems.
• Sterile cell culture of multiple cell lines using aseptic technique for expression and flow testing.
• Execute experiments with varying complexity using advanced molecular biology techniques.
• Execute experiments with varying complexity using multi-color flow cytometry.
• Analyze data using appropriate software and report test results with required documentation.
