Job summary

Pioneer Data in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Bench Scientist in their Antibody Discovery Group for a 24-month contract, extendable up to 48 months. The role focuses on B cell-based workflows and therapeutic antibody discovery campaigns using rodent immunization, serum titer screening, and hybridoma-based methods.

The candidate will execute established lab workflows, immunization strategies, and quality control steps, while evaluating new technologies to enhance discovery processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on antibody discovery workflows including flow cytometry, B cell methods, and hybridoma screening.
• Molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, and immune library generation.
• Experience documenting experiments and communicating results to teams.
• Strong lab organization and reagent/inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Provide lab support for antibody discovery campaigns using flow cytometry and hybridoma methods.
• Execute rodent immunization studies, serum titer screening, B cell sorting, and cloning.
• Maintain reagents and ensure readiness for discovery activities.
• Document procedures and results in lab records and data systems.
• Summarize data and communicate findings to project teams.
