Job summary

Alloy Therapeutics in Athens, GA is seeking an Associate Director of Antibody Discovery Programs to shape and lead strategies for antibody discovery initiatives. You will oversee monoclonal and bispecific antibody projects and manage scientific oversight across numerous programs with pharma, biotech, and academic partners.

Qualifications

• PhD with 6+ years of industry experience in early drug discovery and development, or a Master’s with 10+ years in related field.
• Broad and deep experience with antibody discovery and engineering.
• Strong background in design and optimization of antibody-based therapeutics.
• Proven track record delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent people skills and ability to mentor team members.
• Ability to work across US and international time zones.
• Willingness to travel ~10%.
• Ability to work on-site in Athens, GA.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for scientific success of antibody discovery and engineering campaigns.
• Drive major decisions, balance tradeoffs and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate execution and partner relationships with alliance and project management.
• Lead process improvement initiatives across ADS functional areas.
