Job summary

The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) offers a cooperative education program allowing students to alternate three semesters of full-time work at GTRI with semesters of full-time school. The SEAL lab seeks students to assist Research Engineers with modeling, simulation, circuit design, and testing in electromagnetics, RF engineering, and related areas.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with at least a 3.0 GPA, eligible for co-op credit, and available for three

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
• Must be eligible to participate in a co-op and register for co-op credit
• Must be able to complete at least three full-time co-op terms prior to graduation

Responsibilities

• Assist with RF measurements
• Program test equipment to automate measurements
• Produce MATLAB code to model and simulate HPM, radar, and EW systems
• Perform electromagnetic simulations using HFSS, CST, and/or FEKO
• Assist with RF, digital, and mixed signal circuit design
• Document and present research results
