Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) invites a co-op student in the Test Engineering Division (TEN) for the Spring 2027 semester. The student will design, code, and debug Windows software, embedded systems software, or web technologies for EW, avionics, and radar test applications used to protect aircraft from threats.

The program alternates three full-time co-op terms with university semesters, providing hands-on experience under senior researchers and opportunities to apply machine learning

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related.
• 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
• Must be eligible to participate in co-op and register for co-op credit with your university
• Must be able to complete at least three full-time co-op terms (alternating three terms of full-time work at GTRI with semesters of full-time school) prior to graduation

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and debug Windows software, embedded systems software, or web technologies for electronic warfare or radar systems test applications
• Conduct testing of Windows application software, embedded systems software, or web technologies
• Develop software test tools
• Assist with conducting trade studies, writing technical reports, and writing and conducting tests
