Job summary

The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking co-op students to assist Research Engineers in modeling, simulation, circuit design, and testing within the Sensors and Electromagnetic Applications Laboratory (SEAL). Activities include RF measurements, MATLAB coding, and electromagnetic simulations using HFSS, CST, or FEKO.

Participants should be pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, maintain a 3.0+ GPA, and be eligible for co-op credit; three full-time co-op terms before

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and eligible for co-op credit.
• GPA 3.0 or higher is required.
• Must complete at least three full-time co-op terms before graduation.
• Experience with RF test equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with RF measurements and test setup.
• Program test equipment to automate measurements.
• Produce MATLAB code for modeling and simulation of HPM, radar, and EW systems.
• Perform electromagnetic simulations using HFSS, CST, and/or FEKO.
• Assist with RF, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Document and present research results.
