Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Systems Engineer focused on RF apertures to lead end-to-end payload development and integration for autonomous air systems. You will own payload selection, co-site analysis, and performance validation, coordinating with the AD&S team to deliver high-performance, mission-ready capabilities.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, hands-on RF modeling, and experience with antenna design and system trades.

Qualifications

Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Experience with RF chamber measurements and network analyzers.
2+ years experience with HFSS.
2+ years in antenna design or integration.
5+ years in relevant Science and/or Engineering field.

Responsibilities

Own RF payloads from concept through production as the architect.
Select antennas for payloads to integrate onto vehicles.
Estimate installed antenna performance through simulation and validate with measurements.
Conduct trades for communications, sensing, and effector systems to deliver mission outcomes.
Architect autonomous payload and system solution concepts, requirements, layout, interfaces, and employment.
Adapt physics-based models of payload system performance with SMEs.
Develop validated models for mission-level simulation tools.
Validate system performance with test & integration engineers.
Collaborate with AD&S teams to deliver high-performance systems.
Manage subcontractors and internal development teams to meet requirements and schedule.
Communicate results internally and externally.
