Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Utilities Packet Lead for a remote position in the United States. This role focuses on supporting the transition of utility operations related to the Antarctic Science and Engineering Support Contract.

You will manage documentation and operational data to ensure a seamless transition of utility functions for power generation, water distribution, and critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in utilities and engineering support along

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting utilities, facilities operations, maintenance, infrastructure management, engineering support, or related operational functions.
• Experience managing, organizing, or maintaining technical documentation and records.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and tracking systems.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, organization, and management of utility transition packets.
• Coordinate the collection, review, validation, and transfer of utility-related documentation, procedures, and operational data.
• Collaborate with utility subject matter experts to document current-state operations.
• Track transition deliverables, milestones, risks, and action items.
• Support knowledge transfer activities related to power generation and water treatment.
• Ensure utility documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained.
• Identify documentation gaps and coordinate efforts to obtain missing information.
• Facilitate communication between utility teams and transition personnel.
• Support risk identification and continuity planning efforts.
