Job summary

KBR is seeking an ANTARCTICA Utilities Packet Lead to drive the transition of utility operations for USAP, including power, water, wastewater, and fuel systems. This remote US-based role partners with SMEs and transition leaders to ensure a compliant, seamless handover of critical infrastructure.

The role emphasizes organizing documentation, validating data, tracking deliverables, and knowledge transfer across multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting utilities, facilities operations, maintenance, infrastructure management, or related functions.
• Experience organizing and maintaining technical documentation and records.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, organization, and management of utility transition packets to ensure uninterrupted utility services for Antarctic stations and field operations.
• Coordinate the collection, review, validation, and transfer of utility-related documentation, procedures, drawings, records, and operational data.
• Collaborate with utility subject matter experts to document current-state operations, maintenance practices, and critical infrastructure processes.
• Track transition deliverables, milestones, risks, and action items associated with utility operations.
• Support knowledge transfer activities related to power generation, water treatment and distribution, wastewater systems, fuel operations, and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure utility documentation is complete, accurate, properly version controlled, and maintained in designated repositories.
• Identify documentation gaps and coordinate efforts to obtain, update, or validate missing information.
• Facilitate communication between utility teams, transition personnel, and cross-functional stakeholders.
