Job summary

KBR, Inc in the United States is seeking a Traverse Operations Packet Lead to plan, coordinate, transition, and execute traverse operations across the Antarctic program, moving personnel, cargo, fuel, equipment, and mission-critical resources.

The role requires remote operations know-how, logistics leadership, and the ability to manage austere field environments while ensuring safety, compliance, and on-time support for program objectives.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a background check.
• 7+ years of experience in transportation operations or logistics.
• Experience planning complex transportation and field operations with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for traverse-related planning and coordination.
• Coordinate movement of personnel, equipment, fuel, cargo, and materials.
• Ensure traverse operations are safe, compliant, and efficient.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to support program objectives.
• Oversee fleet readiness, maintenance planning, and resource needs.
• Lead route planning, hazard assessments, weather evaluations, and risk management.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and executive briefings; support budgeting.
