Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Supply Technician to join our Transportation and Logistics team. Reporting to the Senior Supply Technician, you will handle data entry, inventory control, material receiving, and issuance, ensuring accuracy in ERP records and physical stock procedures for ASC and NSF materials.

Key duties include processing inventory transactions, performing forklift-supported storage, preparing outbound shipments, and resolving discrepancies with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in inventory, materials management, warehousing, or logistics.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Proficient with ERP systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy; process transactions (issues, returns, transfers).
• Receive, store and document materials; support forklift operations.
• Research stock information in the ERP to locate items and quantities.
• Inspect received items and report discrepancies (WRONG/OVERAGE/DAMAGED/SHORT).
• Prepare outbound shipments and document material movements.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and Outside Storage Area.
• Cross-train with Transportation and Logistics; operate equipment as needed.
• Respond to inquiries about requisitions, deliveries, and status.
