Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Supply Technician in the Williamsburg area of Virginia to support mission-driven supply chain operations, including inventory management, procurement, and logistics coordination.

The role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Costpoint, and the ability to communicate effectively with leadership, vendors, and team members. A government security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred in supply chain or related field.
• Proficient with Excel; familiar with Costpoint or similar financial software.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform acquisition, supply chain coordination, integrated support, and product distribution to meet objectives.
• Conduct inventory, property management, cataloging, and utilization to support requirements.
• Provide planning, system design, integration, and distribution for programs.
• Coordinate with Global Supply Chain Management to procure goods and services.
• Analyze needs, plan purchases, and support monthly procurement reporting.
• Maintain tracking for supply chain operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Develop and implement training programs for supply chain operations.
• Support project management, including planning, cost analysis and scheduling.
• Demonstrate problem-solving using established guidelines.
• Ensure accurate billing and reporting for services rendered.
• Communicate with leadership, vendors, and team members.
• Perform other duties to support supply operations.
