Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Lead Logistics Specialist for deployment to Antarctica. You will supervise the logistics team, manage daily tasking, and coordinate with the ship/port operations to ensure on‑time cargo handling, inventory accuracy, and safety compliance.

You will supervise and mentor staff, use Maximo for shipping and receiving records, and drive process improvements across inventory, warehousing, and port call planning in a challenging polar environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; two extra years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 3+ years in inventory materials management, purchasing, warehousing, cargo, transportation, or related logistics roles; or one season in T&L Antarctica.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Logistics Department daily operations and ensure adherence to procedures and safety policies.
• Coach and develop associates in ERP usage, inventory management, and port call operations.
• Drive cargo tracking, prepare manifests, maintain shipping records, and oversee data entry in Maximo.
