Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in West Springfield, MA is seeking an Anodizing Technician to process parts in tanks, calculate processing times, rinse and finish parts, and complete required paperwork. You will oversee line staff, log preventative maintenance, and ensure proper hazardous-waste disposal in accordance with procedures.

The role is on-site with no travel, full-time hours, and ITAR-regulated work. Apply to join our manufacturing operations team at this location.

• Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements
• Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts
• Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing
• Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
• Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput
• Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
• Other duties as assigned

• COMPENSATION RANGE: $20.00 to 24.00 Per hour plus shift differential

This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
