Job summary

Athene is offering an internship in the Annuity Product Support (APS) team in the United States. You will gain hands-on experience testing annuity products, validating calculations, and documenting findings while collaborating with experienced product analysts.

You will build skills in product calculations, data validation, and QA, with opportunities to use Excel, automation, and AI-enabled tools. The program runs mid-May to early August, requiring enrollment for Fall 2027 and providing

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, finance, accounting, mathematics, data analytics, information systems, business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate work.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; exposure to SQL, Microsoft Excel, or another programming language is beneficial but not required.
• Experience with AI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Internships will run from mid-May to early August Interviews and hiring decisions expect to be completed prior to mid-November, with some being completed as early as late September.

Qualified candidates must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for Fall term 2027.

The Annuity Product Support (APS) team provides technical product expertise to support the development, testing, and implementation of annuity products and administration system changes. This internship offers hands-on experience with product calculations, system testing, data validation, process documentation, and automation. Working alongside experienced product analysts, the intern will strengthen their analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills while gaining exposure to annuity products and insurance operations.
