Job summary

Modern Woodmen of America is seeking a customer-focused Annuity Analyst in Rock Island, IL. The role supports field representatives, members and employers by processing new business and service requests for both fixed and variable annuities.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related experience, with emphasis on accuracy, customer service, and teamwork. On-site, full-time with competitive benefits and paid holidays.

Responsibilities

• Analyze annuity applications (qualified and non-qualified) and input data for new business and changes.
• Perform 1035 exchanges for non-qualified annuities and coordinate with financial institutions.
• Maintain Salary Allotment Plan file and ensure plan eligibility and guidelines.
• Process transfers and rollovers from other providers to expedite asset exchanges.
• Handle inquiries from field force, members, and employers about qualified plans and annuities.
• Review correspondence on qualified plans and determine appropriate actions.
• Stay updated on tax laws affecting qualified plans.
• Assist in developing new systems to improve department efficiency.
• Attend webinars and conferences to stay current on products and industry changes.
