Job summary

Group 1001 is expanding its annuity administration and claims team and seeks a Supervisor to oversee the operations function for annuity policy administration and death claims. You will develop and lead a small team, guiding day-to-day activities to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing while partnering with Legal, Compliance, IT, and other departments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in annuity operations with leadership experience, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field, or 5+ years of relevant operations and management experience.
• Strong knowledge of annuity contracts, in-force transactions, death claims, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate an operations team and influence across levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of annuity in-force and claim processors; set performance goals and conduct reviews.
• Oversee staffing levels and allocate resources to meet service level expectations for in-force and claims.
• Implement processes to ensure accurate and efficient processing of in-force requests and annuity death claims.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, IRS guidelines, and company policies; collaborate with Legal and Compliance.
• Identify inefficiencies and lead improvement initiatives; partner with technology to automate processes.
