Job summary

American National is seeking a Supervisor, Annuity Administration to oversee daily production and lead a team responsible for post-issue annuity transactions in League City, TX. The role emphasizes process improvement, accuracy, and strong service to agents, clients, and internal partners.

You will coach staff, manage workloads, review backlog reports, participate in onboarding and performance discussions, and help ensure timely, compliant processing while supporting initiatives and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of leadership, team lead, coaching, or supervisory experience.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, annuities, banking, or transaction processing preferred.
• General understanding of accounting concepts, debits/credits, financial products is helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external partners.
• Ability to prioritize work, hold others accountable, and seek process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily workflow, production, and service expectations for post-issue annuity transactions.
• Review backlog reports, monitor workload, and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Coach, support, and provide feedback to team members on expectations and priorities.
• Assist with onboarding, training, performance discussions, and employee development.
• Support quality assurance by reviewing work, identifying trends, and reducing errors.
• Partner with agents, clients, marketing, auditors, HR, and internal teams to resolve questions.
• Identify process improvements and recommend ways to improve controls, reporting, and efficiency.
• Support special projects and contribute to team goals, KPIs, and service level agreements.
